Growing up in a sports-enthusiastic family, I was always surrounded by courts, fields, and physiotherapy tables, which ignited my passion for physiotherapy early on. After earning my Bachelor of Physiotherapy from ACU in 2013, I continued to work in the world of sport while completing my Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy from La Trobe University in 2018. In 2021, I graduated from La Trobe’s prestigious Excellence Academy with a Dual Master’s in Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, ranking in the top 10% of my cohort.
Away from University study, I have worked with sporting teams from local club level to the Australian level teams. These opportunities have included working with the Queensland Cricket Women’s Program (2017), Cricket Australia Underage women’s program, Queensland Indoor Netball, Australian Rugby 7’s and the Chief’s Rugby Union Team in Hamilton, Zealand. These experiences have fostered my interests in treatment of shoulders, muscle injuries, tendons rehabilitation, concussion management, load management for injury prevention and the return to sport for athletes in particular rugby and cricket.
My adventures away from Physio, have led me to the Netball court, Where I have been playing for over 25 years, resulting in playing State League Netball (GBNL) for Caboolture Netball Association. These experiences, both on and off the field, have shaped my dedication to helping athletes of all levels perform at their best and stay injury free.
