about Jake

Exercise & Sport Scientist

After graduating in Exercise and Sports Science at ACU, I went on to pursue studies in Psychology, having just graduated from my 4th year studies with honours, which included a thesis grounded in sports psychology, and plan to begin a clinical masters in psychology. My drive for developing an academic knowledge base in sports performance came from personal experiences gained from competing at a state level in athletics, touch football, and rugby league, as well as representative levels in cross-country and lifesaving.

I integrate my knowledge base and experiences in the sporting arena to provide extensive support and understanding in not only developing physical athletic performance, but also mental techniques to optimise training and build a competitive edge. By combining both the psychological and physical aspects of performance, I aim to help everyone achieve a well-rounded, sustainable approach to success and performance.
